LinkThing 2.0.14: critical bug fix
The last update introduced a mysterious bug that made LinkThing stop working quite often. Although I’ve eliminated the bug, it remains a mystery because I don’t understand why it was happening—the code seemed unproblematic. I’m chalking it up to a Safari peculiarity.
Oh, and I’ve also enhanced the pseudo-statusbar feature. It now reflects whether a link will open in a new tab, not just when the link has a target attribute, but also when you’ve set up LinkThing such that the link will open in a new tab with a normal click.
Download LinkThing 2.0.14 or let Safari update it.
